Ministry of Labour Sets To Host First National Labour Conference

The Ministry of Employment, Labour and Social Security, in partnership with the Sierra Leone Employers’ Federation and the Sierra Leone Labour Congress, will host the National Labour Conference (NLC 2025) from 30th April to 1st May 2025 at the Bintumani Conference center Aberdeen, Freetown.

With the theme “Shaping the Future of Work: Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Just Transition,” this landmark event will focus on preparing Sierra Leone’s workforce for the demands of a rapidly evolving global labour market.
The event will take place alongside the International Workers’ Day celebrations, as it seeks to bring together policymakers, industry leaders, labour experts, and key stakeholders to tackle pressing workforce challenges and explore strategies for sustainable development.

The National Labour Congress 2025 aims to be a transformative platform to redefine the future of work in Sierra Leone. Attendees will gain insights into global labour trends, build strategic partnerships, showcase innovations, and explore recruitment opportunities.
