Standards Bureau Inspects ODHAV Multi Industries
In a proactive drive to ascertain quality of iron rods produce by the ODHAV Multi Industries the Sierra Leone Standards Bureau on Monday 27th October 2025 paid on the spot visit to ODHAV Multi Industries at Songo in the West Northern District of Freetown.
The team was led by the Executive Director Sierra Leone Standards Bureau Dr. John Paul Kaisam, the metrology Manager Frank Martin, Engineer Abdul Fullah and electronic and print media journalists to get firsthand information on production process and to determine the quality of their products.
The team wasted no time in checking for the length and diameters of the various types of rods manufactured by this industry.
The team was physically spotted checking for the Standard length of 12 meters.
The team also checked for 8,12- and 16-millimetres diameter rods.
The Executive Director of Sierra Leone Standards Bureau and team however registered satisfaction over the outcome of the inspection at the ODHAV Multi Industries.
On arrival the team was taken on a conducted tour of the industry by the General Manager of ODHAV Multi Industries Mahesh Pandey where a good number of our Sierra Leonean compatriots were gainfully employed.
The General Manager explained that his Industry is established in 5 African countries including Sierra Leone and Guinea.
He said the industry is very much committed to high standard and quality stating that his Company produces high quality of iron rods, wheelbarrows, binding wires, roofing zinc and nails among others.
