YTB Top Executives Meet With 2025-26 KATIP Participants

Eighteen Participants of this year’s Turkish Language Program for Public Officers and Academicians, were hosted by the President and Vice President of the prestigious YTB program in Ankara, Turkiye.
During an interactive session marking the official opening of KATIP program 2025-2026, Abdulhadi Turus, President of The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, welcomed participants on behalf of the government of Turkiye.
He shared the unique experience between Turkey and the various countries where participants come from.
Murat KAZANCI – YTB Vice President, commended participants for embarking on a fruitful academic journey that seeks to strengthen Turkish relations with their respective countries.
He said that the program was specifically designed to strengthen mutual understanding, institution cooperation and sustainable method between Turkiye and other countries.
“YTB aims to support people to people diplomacy, institutional partnership and international cooperation. It is a comprehensive capacity building and cultural engagement program aims to showcase the unique cultural experience of Turkiye to the world,” he said.
He called on participants to build institutional networks and partnership with government officials, institutions in Turkiye. This he said would enhance the creation of communication networks and further deepens the relations between Türkiye and fellow countries.
Participants were given the opportunity to share their countries experiences with Turkiye, and how they would implement what they have learnt after the program.
As part of the program, KATIP has led participants to visit the historic Ataturk Museum in Ankara.
KATİP was founded in 2014 by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) to offers a deep understanding into Turkish language and culture for public officials, diplomats, academics, and researchers.
