At the World Festival of Hearts and Minds in South Africa… Chief Minister Sengeh Calls for A Progressive Africa
The Chief Minister of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, has called on African leaders to promote the agenda of a united Africa.
Speaking at the World Festival of Hearts and Minds in South Africa, Dr. Sengeh emphasized on the importance of African continent as the place to be for the next century.
“We have the youths that will innovate and provide the skilled work force, we have the climate and the land that will feed the planet. And we have the critical minerals that will enable a just energy transition,” he said.
Dr. Sengeh said that the continent deserves more than having political leaders with a good understanding on data and technology, with radical inclusive, and are ready to make hard, bold, and visionary decisions.
“We must stick to the plan and together we will deliver the Africa we want. I am ready are you?” he questioned.
This year’s festival brings together global thinkers, academics, political leaders, and entrepreneurs with the aim to discuss solutions for sustainable African development.
